Needing ideas for mothers day gifts, Any suggestions?

Any suggestions would be nice! Hopefully this helps others and not just myself! I'm just so clueless when it comes to this day! Maybe a few suggestions for my grandmother as well? Thanks!

I love this flowerpot you paint and fill with flowers:

or this candy which is wrapped in nice gold squares - I love it! - and you could fill up a little basket, candy dish, or other decorative container with it:

    A book I would love:

A super cool locket that holds 6 photos - and folds up into a ball!

Ask them what they would like. Do they have any hobbies? Flowers are always nice. Last year I bought my Mom a flowering tree (my siblings helped). I've also bought gift cards, books, perfume, taken them on an outing- such as a hike or amusement park.

Most of all, speaking as a mother, it's just nice to be appreciated. For me, breakfast in bed and spending the day with my children is the perfect day. It's not all about the gift.

if you can afford it, ipods are def the way to go.

if you want something smaller, try those starbucks tumblers where you can put your own picture in it, scrapbook some pics for your mom and wrap it that way.

    another idea : Manicure/Pedicure

    - Salon certificate

    - movie passes

    - take her out for a day trip to go shopping and out to eat

    - little cupons promising things like 'one day's dishes' and 'one home cooked meal' and other little things you could do to help her

    - sometimes just the little things mean a lot too.

For example. For one day, make sure she does no work. Make the meals, clean up, have the house cleaned the day before so she can have her day in a clean house. take her out, do whatever she wants...best yet, dont argure. if the whole family could just get along for one day, and she had nothing to worry about, itd be close to perfect.

Pretty smelling candles... perfume... lotion... pajamas... Gift Certificates to their favorite restaurant... book store... department store....

...but the best part of the gift would be a hand made card... construction paper... my Mema loves those :) they make her cry... not because they're ugly... but because they mean more than buying some generic cheesy one at a store.

i love proflowers. you will have to order very soon to get them there on time. i have always gotten wonderful flowers from them, plants and other things too. only time we had problems getting them ontime was the fact we had a massive ice and snow storm. they replaced the one that showed up "dead" pronto! We had 2 sets of flowers because the dead ones were still in good shape. Looked awesome. Best wishes!!!!
