Does your friends' mom not feed them enough for dinner? So they want to go out and just kill any animal?
Personally, I would say no. Racoons are well known for being rabid. I volunteer with many exotic animals (native and foreign) at the SPCA. When working around the racoons we have to be extremly careful not to get bit because they are wild animals and may carry rabies. Tell your friend to go down to McDonalds and get a 99cent burger.
