How much is Mark Teixeira worth?

I was reading a story that mentioned Scott Boras could be seeking as much as $20 million per year / $200 million contract for Mark Teixeria when he becomes a free agent next year.

Do you think he'll get what he's asking and/or do you think he's worth what he's asking?

The Yankees will probably throw alot of money at him with giambi coming off the books. I would say his number would be close to what you said. Yankees probably would not sign him for ten years. Boras also lost alot of respect the way he handled Arod's opt out also. Maybe Teizeria could negotiate on his own?

If I were a MLB owner, I'd offer him 165,000 American dollars. 165,000 American dollars! He'd be rich!

Before you say that's not nearly enough money, wouldn't you accept it if a company made you an offer of $165,000 a year to work for them?
