Hi,
You've made my day, thankyou. Your the first person I've seen that has'nt said " I've found a nest with no mother"
I'm glad you bought more pegs, I'm sure your not going to bother the nest either. This world will be better as you let mother nature do what she does best.
Watch your robins in your garden and enjoy them, see the babies grow, one day, you never know one of them might come back and nest there again.
Good luck.

Lucky you!!
Your Robin's eggs will hatch in about 12-14 days from the last egg laid,it will take a further 10-12 days for the young to leave their nest.
So I guess you will have to buy some new pegs, they don't cost much and will be worth every penny, for you to see the young birds ,get a photograph and you will have something to brag about and show your Friends
Good Luck
Be careful when you put out your next lot of washing

Well happy chappy,
Im green with envy ;-) , I remember when three female Robins nested in the barn where the straw bales were kept.
There was a no entry sign for weeks hanging on the door.
I was one of the privelleged few allowed in to quietly view, a dedicated robin will move for no one!
The chicks are very cute.
Enjoy them whilst you can they will warm your heart xx
