You mean the kind that makes you leave the light on and keeps you from going down the hallway by yourself to use the john?? Yes, I have! I just kept telling myself, "it is only a story.....only a story....only a story..." But I still couldn't bring myself to use the bathroom all alone! The book was "The Exorcist" and I wish I had know you then, Father because I would have been bolstered, knowing I had a priest on my side!! Of course, you saw what happened to those priests in the book!!! (So, sure, it is well that I did not know ya then!) lol

HP Lovecraft's Necronomicon is supposed to be very good, I've never read it myself - far too scary for me from what I've heard. If you're into scary pictures, check out Necronomicon by HR Giger who did the Alien in the films - you'll have nightmares - I think you can get it on Amazon last time I looked. Let me know how you get on!

Yes I use to read Stephen King books. Then they became too scary for me so I gave them up.

Yes. I think a couple of my gray hairs were caused by Dean Koontz. I like to read Thomas Harris, and every now and then I get into a good Stephen King novel.

I've read all of Stephen King's and Dean Koontz' books, not that I find them very scary any more though.
