Harry Potter Question???

Oh my you scared me.. I had second thoughts on what side am I on ... ^_^

I really am tired of these lifeless people, if you noticed I always get an answer like "get a life" or "nerd" and "wow you have too much time in your hands" or the legendary "Harry Potter stinks, it's so gay"

I don't care what people think to tell you the truth !! I say it loud and proud ! ^_^

I wonder why do they waste their time and click on a "Harry Potter Fans" question, I mean logically if I hate something I won't waste my time reading, talking or even thinking about it ..it's just that they have no life.. ^_^

You have a great point. I would say half of the people who talk about Harry Potter fans can't read them and understand them. Or, probably haven't even read a book. If they would try Harry Potter, they would love it. I put off reading them for about 4 years, because I thought they were silly, but when I actually did read them, I was HOOKED.

And really. Who wants to read about true stuff. There isn't many stories out there that are exciting and TRUE. When you read you can go anywhere. It gives you a break from reality which for me is a good thing every now and again.

i absolutely agree with you!! and i think that the people who criticize Harry Potter can go get a life...................i will bet you ANY money that IF they pick up the hp books and read them all they will come back and say "i was fully joking...what are you talking about i love harry potter too" and they will finally understand how awesome hp really is

also most of the mindless people who criticize harry potter books have NEVER read them...and have some twisted way of judging things.......they should really get a grip....

Who's worse? The person who posts a question they enjoy for fun, or the person who obsessively search for harry potter questions JUST to write "harry potter sucks?"

I think people who have to rain on others parades and can't enjoy life themselves are the ones with no lives.

I have a life, so what if it includes Harry Potter? Everyone has something that someone else well consider stupid, regardless of how much you love it or how unstupid it really is.

I know i'm sick of reading through my answers just to see the "harry potter sucks" comments.

Just don't let them get under your skin too much. I actually love it when they do that. Think of it as an indication that HP fans are effective. I used to say that the success of Fred & George's antics can be measured by how upset Molly gets when she finds out about them. Same with those haters and bashers. Let's just have the fun of our lives, if others get upset when they don't intend to, it's their own lookout.

Yeah, maybe it is a fantasy, and maybe Rowling's original intent was to write for a younger audience, but y'know what? That woman can flat out write....and the stories she tells resonate with readers of all ages....and not only that, I've also read a lot of the works of Andre Norton, Ursula K. Le Guin and Anne McCafferty....and really enjoyed them....so I guess these idiots really think I need to get a life.

At least I'm reading, and not absorbing the mind-numbing dreck on TV...like Survivor, Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Biggest Loser, The Bachelor, Intervention, Celebrity Rehab, The Insider, Extra, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Real World, Young and the Restless, General Hospital ....need I go on? And you people think that I'm the one who needs to get a life.

Btw, we KNOW it's all fantasy...that's what makes it so much fun to read....we don't need that pointed out to us by a bunch of cementheads who would be shocked if I told them pro wrestling was fake....oops, did I ruin "WWE Smackdown" for yinz guys?

well many click on it to "cause friction"...why???? because like most the only time they have the balls to speak out or "tell someone off" is when they get behind the keyboard...yes, it is so much easier to tell someone off by clicking letters on a keyboard, but it takes a real person with backbone and balls to say in verbally to someones face...which the cowards on here obviously do not have...sad really to think that most hold our future.....

I love Harry Potter and as you're one of my contacts this came to my Inbox. Sorry guys if I don't always answer all of your questions, but they're quite many and sometimes I just don't have the time!

i agree with u. some HP haters go a little to far but its just a way for us to have fun. i also agree with you about the sports. it s just a game and if we can't have fun with our HP w/o getting hammered they should have the same problem. BTW good job on tricking the haters into reading this question

You only need to look at my username to infer that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan:) I haven't met many people who make fun of those who actually read for pleasure, particularly Harry Potter books. Yet I find that all the people who claim to dislike Harry Potter have never actually picked up a book! I don't understand why these people who contradict themselves waste their breath, lol. I love immersing myself in another world, and Harry Potter brings this idea to its fullest. I've read all the books numerous times, as they are incredibly addicting and difficult to put down. I've spent many late nights, and even an all-nighter, reading the series. J.K. Rowling is nothing short of brilliant; she knows her audience and uses this skill to its upmost potential. Her writing strongly evokes emotions from her readers. I'm well-read and emotionally contained, yet her final novel was the only one to ever cause me to cry. The release of the 7th book was bittersweet in that it was a joyous occasion to read new material from my favorite series, but devastating that it would be the last one. I plunged into a tiny pit of depression last summer, lol:)
