how much are old newspapers worth?

i just bought a home and found a newspaper, the honolulu times or something like that, dated december 7th or 8th. the headline read "Pearl Harbor attacked" or something to that affect. is there somewhere i can check its value, if any at all?

    if i were you, i would keep it. i think its very valuable in its own way being that it is a piece of our history. if later on you would want to sell it, i think it would be much more valuable if you wait a couple decades. :]

    old newspapers with headlines from major stories, like the attack on Pearl Harbor can be a worth a lot, depending on the cond. of the paper itself. Make sure it is not a reproducton or facsimile of the original-those were very popular during WWII. "Attack on Pearl" headlines were reprinted and distrubuted by the Govt by the thousands to strir up patriotism and sell war bonds.

    Check online forums or go to an atique store they should help you out. I would keep it that would be a cool piece of history to have
