    Seeing the number 3x10^8 (speed of light) and 'e (mass of electron) + m' says this ends up with units mass*velocity and involves the momentum and collision of an electron and another object in a vacuum.

    m^2 = mass squared, units of kg.

    e^2 = electron charge squared, units of Coulombs.

    3 * 10^8 = speed of light in ms^-1.

    So we have,

    kg C m s^-1

    Coulombs kilograms metres per second.

    Coulomb = Joule per second; therefore,

    Joules kilograms metres per second^2

    E = mc^2 gives-:

    In units; Joules = kilograms metres per second^2,

    so the only difference in your equation is Joules, so I assume this would indicate that you are multiplying this by Energy.
