crickets in ears?

My husband tells me he hears what sounds like a high pitched cricket noise in his ears....sometimes it isnt bad but other times its loud and he has to turn up the volume of the tv in order to hear it,,has anyone ever heard of this before?

    It sounds like Tinnitis. William Shatner has it. My dad, too! From what I understand, there is no cure, but it's not like he's going to be sick. Just will always have ringing in his ears... that is, if tinnitis is what he has.

    Well u either have crickets in your house, to feed your reptile, coz u for some reason put this in the reptile category, and if so ur just being weird.

    Or you have unfortunately put it in the reptile category be accident? if so, just ask ur husband to go to ur nearest doctor and get a ear check up
