Do you re-use or use new bath towels when you shower?

I always use a new towel for my body, but I use the towel I wrap my hair in a few times.

Perhaps your neighbor just loves to do laundry??? We have 6 living in our home and there is no way I'd be doing that much laundry; Most of the time I only do laundry once a week and have maybe 10 loads. As far as reusing towels, even Martha Stewart says a bath towel can be used for a week prior to washing. Hand towels and wash cloths are a different story - I give those 2-3 days.

You can reuse your towel, at least 2 or 3 times. All it has on it is clean water seeing that you just came from the shower. Not like you were drying off the dog with it or something, then defiantly grab a new one.

I'll use the same towel 3 times at the most. partly because my washing machine is on the fritz and partly because its mostly still clean and i like to save water when i can. i mean if you get clean in a bath or shower then surely if you did a proper job then all you are doing is soaking up the excess water on your body. if the towel is left hanging flat and dries then it doesnt get dirty.

Well personally I do use a seperate towel for my face and one for my body. I reuse the face towel but the other I toss into the wash. But using it again isnt a bad thing, to conserve energy and water is always a smart idea

Same one for a couple of showers/baths... I mean you are supposed to be clean when you get out, so if you didn't use a new one, you basically are putting a "clean" towel in the dirty clothes.... Just because it's not dry doens't mean it's dirty...

Sometimes I re-use the towel I put on my head, but I change the washcloth and the body towel.

I have two seperate towels- one for my hair and one for my body. I use my hair towel about 4 times before washing it. I use my body towel twice (one day for each side) and then wash it. This saves on build up of laundry.

I always use a new one. I don't want to wipe my fresh clean face with the towel I dried my butt off with the day before. Plus theres bacteria from the towel being exposed in the bathroom. Remember....everytime you flush the toilet microscopic fecal bacteria fly six feet in all directions. Please keep your fresh towel in the cabinet or closet. Maybe my husband will read this. :)
