My van will not start when it rains.?

1999 Chevrolet 5.7 L 350 express cargo van. It cranks over fine but seems to just sputter but not start and run. It will not start when it rains. Usually a soaking rain. There is no evidence of water getting under the hood. When driving it and it rains it runs fine. After it stops raining and dry's up it is fine. Whats going on? Moisture in the ECM? maybe? Help!

This is usually a corrosion problem in the spark plug or coil wires or all of them. Take them all off, one by one, and look at the connections. If you see corrosion or anything weird, replace it. For diagnosis, use a water sprayer and soak things down while it is running and when it quits or sputters you're in the right area.

This symptom usually indicates a problem in the high voltage, secondary spark system - coil connections, bad wires, excessive road grime on coil assy and so fourth.
