I've been in the hospital recently, and when I came home I noticed that my status as top contender was gone ??

I was in the hospital recently and when I came home to get back to my questions and answers on Yahoo I noticed that my top contender was removed, could you please tell my why !!!! And do I have to start all over again to regain that status ????

    Happened to me when I was unable to get online for a couple of weeks. To regain status I just answered and voted like crazy, eventually got it back. Good to see you back, hope you have your health back and are feeling better.

    Top Contributor status is determined each week.

    If you are inactive or do not achieve a high level percentage of Best Answers in your category, then you will not receive the TC badge.

    We have to keep answering in our designated categories to keep the Top Contributor badge. I have no idea what a "top contender" is.

    i hope you are fine now?

    it is because once you stop participate in the category you will lose your top contributor sign.

    you are obviously spending too much time online.were you taken in with the well known "geek" illness?
