beef heel muscle dishes?
Hi.
I have a beef heel muscle and have had no luck finding a decent recipe. The meal has to be done by 5pm (1pm now).
Any ideas?

This will work believe me.
Ox Tails
Brown several seasoned pieces at a time to some oil in a fry pan and transfer to a slow cooker, heavy based pot or casserole dish.
Add a little more oil from time to time as necessary and then fry off some onions, garlic and add mixed herbs and stock or water.
Stir well to get all the flavourful bits from the meat of the pan and pour over the pieces and cover.
Cook on low for as long as possible. (About 60 minutes per 500gm)

is that the same as ox tails...I think it is...Try a veg soup. Boil beef in pan w/ water, salt, pepper & garlic powder for like 1-1/2 hours. And add veggies that are cut up still in med/large pieces. Potatos, onion, carrots, corn on the cob, zuchinni, squash, tomatos, fresh garlic, salt & pepper to taste. Potatos, corn, and carrots take longer to cook so put in before the other veggies.
