problem with office 2003?

Question

i had office 2007 trial version on my laptop os:vista home basic. now i installed office 2003 but when i start any office application a message " application version does not match" appears . i have uninstalled office 2007 before installing 2003. 
how to rectify this problem

probably u haven't yet uninstalled the business contact manager 2007 which comes with office 07. uninstall it and ur job is done.
you must remove all the components of office 07 before installing office 03.

Probalby you save the documents in Windows 2007 format. ie like *.docx  So you wil not able to open them. If you have an extra time period for office 2007 then install it again if not then try to set your clock to a back date and use it to convert the files to Office 97-2003 format. 

You can  do this by choosing the SaveAs -> Office 97-2003 format in Office 2007.

Now the new files can be opened in Office 2003 and 2007 and Office XP

You must convert it. No Other way..

uninstall office2003 and install office 2007 maybe office2003 is not compatible to vista
