    Yahoo has begun a massive re-engineering project that will unify the services that Yahoo run.

    The work is expected to continue for months so some disruption to services can be expected.

    It hopes the project will transform the site into a vast social network where Yahoo users can quickly find and communicate with each other.

    i've gotten them too. they are either coffee breaks or breathers. just routine maintence and updating. so some technical difficulties will take place.
