In order for green tea to be really good for you, you need to buy GREEN TEA EXTRACT that comes as a tincture & you can put dropperful in hot or cold water....or buy Green Tea Extract capsules with EGCG of at least 60-70%. Caffeine free.

It has antioxidants which destroy free radicals in the body caused by oxidation (like rusting).

    It is cancer protective.

It can help you lose weight especially in your abdomen.

Supports healthy blood pressure, hair follicle health, lean body mass, the brain,& cardiovascular system.

To build immune system take between meals

For weight lose, eat with food.

Regular green tea in groceries etc.: you'd need to drink about 60 glasses/day for equivalent benefits.

    Cheers!

yes, they did a meta-analysis (side by side study) of japanese cohorts who drank oolong tea and green tea and it turns out, that adjusted for the weight loss due to caffeine, green tea drinkers still lost more weight. this means that there is something else in green tea in addition to caffeine that causes weight loss. whether or not the antioxidants help reduce the incidence of cancer but i suppose it cannot hurt.

Yes. It is high in antioxidants. Also, it prevents new blood something-or-others, possibly vessels though I'm not sure, from growing, so it slows down cancer.
