Spiritually, is this physical reality we now live in what we should focus on the most? Why? Why not?

go ask the children in Rwanda if their starvation, and their memories of their parents being (literally) butchered in front of them are "illusions".

If you haven't noticed everything in the material world changes. This means that the forms we see are not permanent and therefore not "real". The material world as a whole is real but without complete knowledge of it (nobody knows what is beyond the quantum level) one is getting only part of the picture and therefore it can be argued that then we live in some type of illusion.

In reality though there is no separation between the spiritual and material. Those who believe this to be so are the ones that believe in dualistic religions such as in Christianity and Islam. They are deluded by ignorance and have to set up a "good" verse "evil" cosmology because that are in the dark about the truth.

As one is fully equipped to function in this world physically and spiritually, thus one should learn to appreciate the natural world spiritually so that one has no regret after leaving this physical material world for the spirit has been nourished by being in tranquil harmony with the natural world and enlightened to a higher level of understanding.

Do you remember when you had to take an exam?? I remember one I had to take. It was real important and we went to an auditorium. We were instructed to take every other seat, no talking and we could not open our tests until a certain time and so on.

I did as I was told and when the test started, I put my name at the top and started taking the test. At first, I was really interested, but as time went on, i started getting bored and just colored in the little circles to make an interesting design as they went down the page. I wanted to sleep, to dream, to do anything but take that test.

At a certain time, the instructor who had been walking aound to make sure we were not cheating, shouted out that time was up, no more writing, put your pencils down. I remeber the odd feeling I had because I knew what I had done with my time and my answers.

Did I deserve the grade I got?? Of course. Did I know that I could later be doing something else and that I needed to work hard on my test because it meant so much to my future? Of course.

But, still, I played at taking a test. Life is like that test. Someday, God will say, pencils down, no more answers, it is over and the grade I get will be what I deserve.

Are there physical pleasures that I could follow? Could I only see the phusical and not the spiritual? My future, and yours, depends on how we view our physical and spiritual existence now and later.

Spiritual world wouldnt exist without the existence of the material world

I treat the material as a distraction

I'll only be here for maybe 80 years

Here on earth we need to be thinging of when we leave it

there is an afterlife and if we do not prepare for it here

then Hell will be our home for eternity,

I think that is more important because we are just passing

thur on our way home.

Not important, because this body and earthly home is not our eternal one, thus why care.
