What are your opinions on Female guitar players?

They're hella awsome!

There is nothing sexier that a female bass player in an all male band. I think it's the surprise you get when a girl is providing the ballsy bottom end stuff. It might be the drums that gives you the beat but it's the bass that demands that you get up and dance.

Girl guitarists don't have quite the same appeal for me, although I've known a couple of good ones.

They stand or fall by their skill level in my book. I love guitar and I still like girls so it's a double whammy if the guitar is good AND the girl is good. Got to be both though.

Had you had an opportunity to own any of her and her family's music you would be worth millions today. The royalties on all their music covered by other artist is staggaring.

Read this Wickipedia entry about her "scratch" style of guitar playing. Hardly EVER duplicated even today. Beautiful lady and beautiful music. What more could a man ask for?

As a guitar player, girls that play are just THAT much sexier, doesn't matter if you play metal, blues, jazz, or country. Might just be me, but I have a thing for the little guitar playing chicks. Keep rockin out!

Well, I am not a guy but that is pretty cool! I feel the same way about skateboarding and snowboarding. I'm very close to my brothers and it's just a hobby that we enjoy doing together. I'm from Germany, so I don't know what teenagers are really like in America, but I think you have a beautiful talent :)

Take it as it comes. I was always the chick hanging around the guys. Being just another one of the guys isn't always such a bad thing, in a way it's very inviting. Less drama, as far as I'm concerned. Don't stress about them, someone will love the stuff you play and jam out with you.

Theres a lot of girls that play guitar the way you do. Its not a big deal or anything new. I'm sure a lot of guys will love your style.

So, I don't think my opinion is what you're really looking for, lol. But I am a bit of a tomboy... like, I'm absolutely obsessed w/ basketball... (especially the phoenix suns) and i can beat all the guys in my grade in one on one...
