What Did You do for Mother's Day?

took my wife out for breakfast @ ihop then took her shopping all over town then boiled crawfish @ home its her favorite

I got to get up with the boys at 6:30 AM while husband slept till 9:45 AM, I got to fix my own breakfast lunch and dinner while husband sat on his butt and watched TV all day, I got to take care of the boys like I do every day even though it was Mother's Day, I did get a card from my boys and my oldest had made me a ceramic dish at school which he gave me on Friday, so that was nice.

But I am thankful for my son's thoughtfulness and caring demeanor in doing his share of things around here and trying to make my day be a nice one. I hope every one else had a great Mother's Day also.

Called Mom & left her a voice mail of "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" & wished her a Happy Mother's Day. (For the Mom who has everything, she got a nice meal at a local restaurant from me & my husband on Sat). Then, I went to work by driving my semi (I am an over the road truck driver) towards my customer near Redding CA for a Mon morn delivery. Now, I am sitting here listening to "Survivor Season Finale" & playing on y/a from an Idleaire spot at the TA in Redding CA.
