Not only in Dubai but almost all of the GCC.

August temperature in Dubai (UAE), Saudi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar could reach 44 deg C on the average and on some occassions - can be as high as 48 deg C or even 50 deg C in some parts of Saudi like Riyadh or Jeddah.

It's not the heat that is killing you - it's the humidity !!! and you can have that both in Dubai !!!

The hottest temperature ever recorded in my area, I think 115 F. was in mid July almost 60 years ago. August has a lot of hot weather, but sometimes, like now in the Midwest, there is actually a cooler spell toward the end of the month. I've seen it in the high 40's, I think here. I think July is hotter, but maybe not everywhere.

Makes hardly no difference. From June onwards, daytime temperatures are always around 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). July is the hottest month with temperatures hovering around 45 degrees C (113 degrees F) and even reaching 50 degrees C (122 degrees F)! Average humidity is between 70 - 90% during the day. September is slightly cooler but the most humid month, with almost a regular 100% humidity.

    Do not wonder, experience:))

    Take care.

edit: 3 weeks are not enough to beat the heat. You for sure will get your share.

Depends on where you live. Since water heats up very slow, it cools very slowly, which is the reason most cities on the coast, August is the hottest month. Otherwise, July is the hottest month for other areas. June is the hottest month in the desert southwest, due to the monsoon season in July.

i think both months are just as hot, was there last summer... honestly, the heat wont kill you, its the humidity that will make you suffocate!

i live in the cold new england weather in the US, and did not mind the heat, the only thing that drove me insane was the humidity!

i would suggest going in July, its a bit cooler, but you're really not gonna feel the difference, its gonna feel hot for your because of the suffocating humidity!

enjoy your trip, its beautiful there! you're gonna fall in love with it there!!!
