Hi there I am on the mirena and get all th same symtoms as you do. The thing with the mirena is that it can take up to a year for everything to calm down so I would advice going to the doctor and consider removing it as its obviously doing more wrong than good.
Good luckx

My sister has had the IUD for about 7 months now and she is having the same problem. Cramping is a side affect of the IUD but after a year, you may want to get it checked out...just to make sure its still in place!

I started getting very bad cramps (have had them all along but not bad, they said my body had to get used to it so I could have some cramping for a few months), after one day of the horrible cramping I finally had to go to the ER. The Dr's told me I had a 3inch ovarian cyst that had ruptured.
