Are there any good luck spells that don't involve candles?(or burning your house down?)?

Don't laugh. There was this gal around here who did a spell to rid herself of her debt and financial burdens that involved buring something - and ended up burning her whole house down. Well, she learned that her house was the major reason for her debt and financial issues. So, as they say - be careful what you wish for, because you just may get it!

The only thing a spell *requires* to work is your energy. The tools and other ingredients only help you to focus that energy.

You can use herbs, stones/crystals, colors (doesn't always have to be colored candles, use crayons, or cloth & ribbons, etc. - you can use certain stones and herbs wrapped in a certain colored cloth to combine the properties of such items for a spell). Think practical and use common sense (these are important traits for any witch) - you can use everyday items in spells if they help you focus your intent. (i.e. Do you have a staple remover on your desk? That could be used in a spell for "removing" a bad habit from yourself, or removing an obstacle from your life's path.) The possibilities are endless.
