Does a typical Verizon Family Plan include texting?

there's all different plans, but i am not sure if verizon offers a family text plan. me and my brother are on the family plan and we pay for ours seperately. they don't list them online, but i think the $10+ ones have unlimited verizon to verizon, and then more to out of network as the price goes up. i have the $10 one and i get 250 in and out to out of network.

NO!!!! i have Verizon and i have the family plan. You have to buy the texts for $5 a month. That is for 250 outgoing and unlimited incoming. But a very good choice, going with Verizon. If you do not buy the texts, they are 15cents each.

no its $5 per person for 250 a month or $10 per person for 500 plus unlimited to verizon a month or $20 a month for unlimited i would suggest 500

No you have to get the select family plan which is unlimited texting to anyone on any network

mine is the premium family plan and i get 700 minutes unlimited txt to everyone on any network, and internet access etc. look at the website and customize your plan. i have 3 people on mine and its averaged at 180 a month. i think thats good but its expensive but we get great reception. p.s. the other person who said 500 amonth is enough, no way.. my little sister does 3000 a month thank god for unlimited. (and thats only sent messages)

You can choose if your plan comes with texting or not, when i had verizon the lowest minutes/very basic plan did not come with any texts.

You can choose, but mine does. I have unlimited texting inside the network, outside I believe is 500 texts each. You can choose your text plan, no worries.

Depends on what you payed for. A pack or pay by the text.
