I sort of am... for example, every first day of a new semester, I make sure to wear flip-flops.

    Yes. Nurses have lots of superstitions. If we say the name of someone, they appear! We do NOT say the word quiet, because then quiet ceases to be! And... We turn down all our empty beds, too.

    Yes. It's my Grandma's fault! I believe in things like not putting a hat on the bed and not opening an umbrella in the house because both can bring bad luck.

  • No im not but my ex mother-in-law is. Not going to a funeral when pregnant, don't tell anyone that they have a big tummy on a sunday and not looking at someones back if they have measles, chicken pox etc.... there are many more, strange huh?

    Nope, I believe you create your own bad/good luck by the the way you act (as in being nice or not so nice)

    not at all, although I am OCD and sometimes people mistake my little quis for superstitions.

    no, i am not but there are some taboos that we cannot avoid and i think that there is no harm if we follow them
