On a scale of 1-10, how stupid do you think the Sex & the City movie looks?
10 being extremely stupid.
I enjoyed the show somewhat, but looking back, it was really ridiculous and idiotic. And now they're making a movie? It's all for money. Pathetic. What do you think? Will you see it? Why?
I agree with those who say the show was stupid, now that I think about what it's point was: to say that it's okay to whore around at any age. I wouldn't see the movie unless I was being paid.

10, dude. If I could have said 11, I would have.
That show just makes me feel great. I love to watch a satire about women going around town making fun of men with average sized wangs and mediocre paying jobs. It just makes me feel SUPER!

I don' think heres anything inherently wrong with making a movie just for the money. That said, I never cared for the show, and won' see the movie, I'd rate it about a 7 on the stupid scale.

I will more than likely get thumbs down for having my own opinion, i dont mind tho, but i am pretty excited to see this movie. Some things were dumb but its still a good show. Honestly i think there are alot of fans still, i bet even the ones who answered this used to be fans, its just that since the show is over & its not the new fad people are over it. There was a message from the show i liked which was that best friends are your soul mates :D I love how they're always there for eachother. So i am proud to say i will see this! :D lol
Source(s): ps: of course its for money, is anything in this world done without money? sadly nope :( - Anonymous1 decade ago
No I won't see it ! Cause I've never watched the shows and it looks and sounds totally boring ! It's a 10 ! A waste of time to watch ! There's a part in the movie about crayons about coloring with every crayon in her box [ which means having sex with every crayon it her box ] That just makes it alot more stupid ! It's a 20 !

I loved the show! So much that I actually have every available season on DVD.
It was hilarious! But, many just didn't understand the humor.
Yep, I'll probably see the movie, too. Hey, "that's entertainment".
As for being ridiculous and idiotic, that describes just about every TV show and movie that we see, and as for it being about the money, well, of course!! Check out The Hills, Gossip Girl, all reality shows, etc.

10?
I've never ever watched an episode of that show and my life is fine without it. So i'll definitely be giving that movie a miss.
I haven't actually seen what the movies about yet. (no ads or anything)
I think making a movie from a tv show like that is a bit silly.

Women look at me with disgust written all over their faces when I tell them I didn't like the show. I found the women irritating and I wanted to b*tchslap all of them. So I'm gonna say 10. Higher if I could. However my sister may drag me kicking and screaming. Guess it would be a good time to catch up on some sleep.

It's probably every bit ridiculous as the show. Guess the old hags are running out of cash?
What's her face reminds me of those wooden spoon dolls with yarn for hair. Even then they made her wear tight clothes, being a -2 wasn't small enough.
High priced call girls is all those "ladies" reminded me of. Wow and two actually got married. No wonder the show fell to pieces.
