Lump under armpit?
I have found a lump under my right armpit , the lump is painful and
feels like a cyst to me. I know I have risks of getting cancer because I have family members that have gotten it, although none have been breast cancer. I have been having alot of different tenderness but in the left breast and felt what felt like a small knot in the left one but seems to not be there now. I plan on speaking to my doctor tomorrow, but wanted to ask if anyone had any ideas what else this could be if nothing else to ease my mind. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

There could be a number of explanations, and hopefully your doctor will put your fears to rest tomorrow.
If no family members have had breast cancer you are not at increased risk of it. If one of your parents carried one of the faulty breast cancer genes, that is what would put you at increased risk of breast cancer.
You can inherit a tendency to get SOME cancers, but not all, and some cancers are not hereditary at all.
Good luck tomorrow

This sounds like a swollen lymph node. This could have been caused by either an infection, an autoimmune condition, or possibly cancer.
According to the Mayo clinic's website, you should see a doctor if the swollen lymph nodes:
Have appeared for no apparent reason
Continue to enlarge
Feel hard or fixed
Are accompanied by fever, night sweats or unexplained weight loss
Are red, warm and tender
I suggest you see a doctor. My guess is that it's probably nothing serious, but go see one to be sure.

it might just be a swollen lymph node. mine sometimes get swollen and painful in my armpits but they go away after a few days. Good luck!

maybe a blocked sweat gland, or a small ingrown hair, as i assume you shave or wax under your arms,
i have had it before, ( blocked gland ) its minor although uncomfortable
are you sick in any other way? usually when your body is getting rid of any infection it can happen,
dont worry,
