Contests have always been a great promotion tool for businesses.
They get more mileage, people check them out to join the contest, and people like you refer the site to others. It's a great viral marketing tool for businesses
Contestants on the other hand get to win a prize, and in this case $10,000 for new furniture
It's a win-win situation -- assuming of course that everything is legit. If you're going to participate, check first if there are any tax implications for winning that amount
