Question about original Birth Certificate?
I have a question, i live in california and iam trying to get on SSI but they are saying I need a original Birth Certificate to even get on ssi and i missed place my original copy some where and i cant found. I was born in New York and is there any way that the state of New York can send me a Original Copy of my Birth Certificate or is there nothing i can do some1 please help?

You can get it directly from the state of NY if you use the link below. You'll need a valid driver's license and a bill with you current name and address on it.
It will cost $30.00 to get it through the mail, and $45.00 by phone/internet and you'll need access to a fax machine most likely for the second option.

yes you can call up to the court house or go online they might charge a fee but they'll do it
