Global Warming Deniers who are you going to vote for now?

that McCain is joining Democrats on global warming? He has come out firmly in favor of aggressive cuts to greenhouse gases.

Good question. I thought exactly the same thing yesterday when I saw McCain talk about global warming. Whoever wins the Presidency, the deniers won't have a President anymore who just gives lip service to it while he smirks behind his hand. Wow, they might be forced to change their lifestyles a bit after all, whether they like it or not. Something about that is particularly satisfying. The last person I got into an in depth argument about it with finally, when pushed to the wall, exposed his true feelings. He told me, without the least bit of shame, that even if it is true it's not his problem, let his kids deal with it. A statement that struck me silent with shock. Hope he got an earful yesterday, and I hope he lives long enough to have to make some changes that will benefit all of us.

Geez, I'm feeling particularly waspish about this subject today lol.

We don't need to get science out of politics IMO. We need to get politics out of science. Science has its place but its place shouldn't be exaggerated. Obviously science tells us that there is a very large earthquake that is overdue on the San Andreas Fault east of LA. Ignoring that would cost us many more lives and property damage. There are plenty of other similar examples. I should point out the obvious, that I don't think the risk of AGW rises to nearly that level at this time.

They'll vote McCain because most of them know they are wrong on that issue or it isn't the big deal they usually try to make of it. If the hardcore conservatives had any principals McCain would never get their vote for this and many other reasons. That they easily vote for him anyway shows their loud rhetoric is often nothing but empty rhetoric and not to be taken serious.

Looks like he's joined the band wagon and kicking the villain (Bush) for good measure. Pretty good.

McCain's on board for cap and trade carbon credits. I wonder how that's gonna fly.

Or perhaps JGF us hardcore Conservatives are as always forced to vote for the wrong that is more right, just to keep completely inappropriate candidates out of our White House.

So the Tryanny that is Global Warming legislation has won the day. Hurray for Tyranny and Oppression, you leftists must feel so proud.

I'm still voting for McCain. Nobody's perfect. I do like his plan to reduce carbon emmissions much better than the Democrats though. Read up on it.

Congratulations you democrats won the global warming debate. Now lets all buy Carbon offset credits and really cut down on those pesky greenhouse gases that are causing this. That is the plan right, buy carbon offsets, another form of tax to reduce how much we all use... Good plan. Again Congratulations on your Superior Win.

The least socialist candidate, but there are a few in congress that can derail the plans.
