Hi am travelling to Doha, Qatar for a day only?

hi, Im headed to Doha, Qatar for a day only, Will be mostly at the airport only, so just wanted to inquire, about the duty free shop at Doha international airport. Anyone been in it? And im lookin at buying some decent watches, and maybe a few electronic items.

    Yea, i have transferred there. The duty free shop there was not that big, but you can get those latest electronic stuff. and i remember there were also brand watches. Most people just buy alcohol and cigarettes there, cuz low price and diverse brand to choose.

    The most wonderful thing when staying in Doha airport is seeing the sunrise on the second floor from the french windows - so beautiful..

    The Duty Free shop at the Doha International Airport is fairly good and you can expect to pick a few bargains there. Check for what they have before you arrive at http://www.qatardutyfree.net/

    U'd surely get all the latest stuff out there in terms of electronics, watches wudnt b a prob at all. Duty free at Doha definitely aint all that big and the ambience is nothin at par wid the one at dubai or abu dhabi, but it certainly is stacked with all latest gadgets under the sun.

    I bought a Rolex for 70 Riyal and it broke 2 weeks after that. I guess Rolexes don't last as long in Qatar...
