Practice, practice, practice. I assume you are Cuban in the States? If so, turn off the Novelas for a while and watch only in English TV. Speak only English, preferably around someone who speaks it and is patient and won't correct you all the time--unlike my Puerto Rican husband who corrects my small mistakes in Spanish all the time.
