I really want to dye my hair, but I'm not sure what color to go with.?

you could go for a dark red, for any brown or even for black - as I cannot see your eye colour, I won't recommend.

btw, only because you work for a government institution it doesn't mean you cannot play around - just don't take any artificial colours like pink, petrol etc.

you could get a rich brown as a basis and red and black highlights in it.

Can't really see the picture but if I were you, I would just go to a salon and be like "do something with it!" because sometimes, they've seen a complexion like yours and a hair color that goes really good with it that you never would have thought of... something with highlights though. They also have those color books that I usually look through. I just went from light/med brown to a strawberry blonde with bleached highlights... my myspace is www.myspace.com/eaull87 ... but ... that's what I'd do!

Their are two things that you can do. 1) is dye your hair Dark Blonde ,then put in Carmel and a few lighter highlights through out it looks natural and sun kissed. 2 ) Just put highlights and lowlights through your hair this also looks natural. I hope this will help you.

I think a chocolate brown in a neutral tone,looks good on most people also it will make your hair look really shiny,buy a semi permanent dye and see how you like it first but personally i think it would look good

I wouldn't lighten it if I were you as it may be a constant battle with re-growth and roots showing. as you're a little pale i wouldn't go too dark either.
