How to add a new contact to my e-mail contact list?
I will try to be more in detail. I use the old Yahoo Mail Classic. There was a button next to a e-mail address that you could click on and it would add it to my contact list. It is no longer there. How do I add to my contact list without having to re-type the new address. I do not want to add to mobile. The add to moblie button is the only one that shows up now. I do not want to switch to the new mail. Once again is there a way to add a new contact to my contact list from a e-mail without having to re-type it? I do not want anything to do with adding to mobile and I am using the old Yahoo Classic Mail that had a button that youclicked on to add to my contact list. Thanks for all other annwser is received. Yahoo removed that icon.
They must have thought it was a good idea at the time -----I can't imagine why.
The only way, for now, is to enter them manually.
You say---"I don't want to re-type"----but unless you want to "copy and paste" the address into your address book----there's no other way.
If you click on "forward or reply"---{{ !!!!you DON'T actually send it !!!!}} ---that puts the exact and correct address on the TO line, where you can "copy" it easily. Then "paste" (or type) it on the "add contacts" page.

I have no answer!
I lost my entire contact list and the contacts icon.
If I click on the "TO" to send an e-mail, I get the list, but I can not add or delete any e-mail addresses.

some emails are cannot be added because of website that have no reply. the other reason your contacts in already been added It should say View contacts.
For me copy the email address and open up Contacts
go down to bottom and see add quick add contacts and then paste the email address.

This is stupid that I can not access my contact list, look at it, mark who I want a note to go to and add a new address to my list. COMPUTERS WHO DREAMS UP THESE THINGS?
