Excel formula question...HELP!?

I have a cell that has a formula in it and if the answer is less than zero, I'd like it to display a zero instead of the negative answer. Is there a way to build that into the formula?

Thanks in advance

PS ~ The current formula is =sum(e28:e33)-40

Copy and paste this: just pretend there is no "enter"

    =IF((SUM(E28:E33)-40)<0,0,(SUM(E28:E

    33)-40))

    Hope this helps

    = MAX( yourformula, 0 )

    = MAX(SUM(E28:E33)-40, 0)

At the block where you want the answer

Press Insert, select Function, Select If, then put in your equations and answers here.
