I have several videos that are ".flv" format. What player recognizes these files?

Windows media and Quicktime don't, and those are the only ones I can think of right off hand.

They are flash files and can be opened in IE or Firefox or just convert them. You need to download a plug-in to get them to work in your browser.

    Hope i helped

WMP not recognizing it isn't a problem. If it is unable to play however, you need to install a codec that will play it. I think having Flash installed should give you a codec.
