What's the point in blocking a user?
What's the point in blocking a user when some idiot like "Is this Real World or Exercise" seems to be able to create innumerable IDs with the same screen name, avatar, and bigoted content, and I end up having to block them one at a time?

When you block a User, they cannot view your Question or enter an Answer.
Also, when you block a User, it goes into the Blocked Users file. Occasionally, the Yahoo!Answers Team reviews the Blocked Users file to see if any one participant has numerous blocks. Based on that, they might investigate the reasons for multiple blocks and take appropriate actions.
