    i use the ones in the orange pack . they are 9-46 ... heavy bottoms so i don't break 'em and light top so i can bend 'em

    I used to play with slinkys. They were alright. As far as ernie balls go I think they are the best. I now use blue steels by dean Markley. Better tone. Anyway its all about personal preference.
