collecting used oil?
My dad and i have been collecting for about year and a half. In the last six months we've been having problems keeping a regular supply, first it was claim jumpers and know the rendering company is starting to pay for it instead of charging the resturants to haul it off. Were looking at building our own steel tanks and buying the oil under contract with the businesses. Are any of you other people that are collecting having this problem and if so how did you deal with it. Thanks.

I buy it for a $1.00 a gal. If peanut oil or better I pay $1.50.It drives the vendors out. They mix it with animal feed anyway. Madcow again.

I have been expecting to see not only that this used oil will acquire a market value as people get on to using it, but the total demand will very soon far exceed supply. Someone will be going without.
Anyone that does not have a secure supply will just have to stop using it. Meanwhile lots of other people will be starting to use as the last supplies are being contracted for.

What are you complaining about? Oil is valuable.
You've got to compete, brother. Why should you get it free?
