Will Jerry Sloan....?

ever win an NBA title? I respect him and his team, but I personally hate the utah jazz fans, and its just great how Michael Jordan ripped their hearts out twice, and thats if they had any hearts to begin with. Now that the lakers have beat them ON THEIR HOMECOURT (classic) how long will it take for jerry sloan to win an NBA title, if at all?

I was just wondering that! It seems that every time he gets close to a title, Phil Jackson is there to kick him in the nads. When he get Stockton and Malone, PJ got Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and a certain Michael Jordan. Now that Sloan has Williams and Boozer, Jackson added Gasol to his lineup of Kobe, Odom and Bynum. Keep in mind that Sloan is not a young guy, he is like 67, which is already 4 years older than Pat Riley. So, by the time the Jazz are actually relevant, which is after Kobe and Chris Paul retire, I don't see him coaching anymore.

I also agree with you in that I hate many, not all, Jazz fans, and it was quite satisfying to end the series in Salt Lake City. The players and Jerry Sloan were very classy and lost with grace, fighting to the end, but I just can't get over all the crap from that crowd. And if the Jazz never win a title, I will definitely not complain.

The Jazz probably is too good right now. Utah won't be getting any good draft choices, and thus won't be able to add a big talent through the draft. They'll have to get lucky with a free agent signing.

Sometimes a team just isn't good enough to make it all the way. The Jazz was close with Stockton and Malone, but didn't have the supporting cast. See Dallas and Phoenix now for further evidence.

For Jerry Sloan to win an NBA Title, he would need a great bench and more superstars. Trade in Kirilenko for someone tough maybe Ron Artest, get in a shooting guard who is athletic and a good center.

Hi! I hate the Utah Jazz crowd too. I i think he will never win a NBA title unless he switches teams.

I don't think he ever will. He had a great chance back then, but Michael Jordan was just a beast.
