I hope your using something other than the engine to turn the oil pump!! This problem should have been identified BEFORE initial startup!!!

If you are turning the oil pump manually, how long have you been turning it? It will take a while for the oil to get up there.

Make sure your going in the right direction too.

(I assume there is oil in the engine)

If there is still nothing, can you feel or hear resistance on whatever you are using to turn the pump?

(...again, please tell me its not the engine!)

The other answerer's may be right about a bad pump, improper install, or no prime

You didn't state what year engine and how it was modified.

327 is an old engine. Prior to 65 rockers were oiled through hollow rocker studs. After wards they were oiled through hollow pushrods. Change of heads or head gaskets can stop the flow. Also solid pushrods, non-hydraulic lifters, roller rocker arms, oil galley restrictors can stop the oiling.

Was that a rebuilt or a cheap overhaul. Could be bad oil pump, cam bearings, main brgs, wrong head gaskets blocking oil ports. Take the oil sender out of the block and replace with a oil pressure gauge. Check pressure warm at idle about 30 psi. Also oil pressure relief valve may be missing or broken spring. I wouldn't drive it like that, If no oil pressure you can destroy the rods and crankshaft

Did you prime the oil pump before you installed it??

Try pumping oil down through the oil galleries to see if you can get oil pressure to build up.
