Yes you need itunes. When I got my iPod I felt the same. I wasn't going to pay for songs and I don't! I downloaded limewire and now i get my songs for free! Your iPOd will be useless unless yu can get someone else to put songs on for you!
Hope this helps

Yep You Need iTunes To Put Songs On Too Your iPod...Limewire Is The Best Way To Get Free Music But tHere Is A Risk of Limewire Crashing Your Computer/Laptop..This Has Happened To me Before! <3

download the free version of limewire, make sure to turn off sharing though so that it's legal.
then import the songs into itunes (do this by opening the "explore" button and draging the songs into your itunes library)
then you have your songs ready to sync onto your ipod!

If you have limewire upload the songs to itunes and connect your ipod to the computer than drag and drop songs to and from your ipod

i could bypass with the iPod touch by using fact of straight forward touch-demonstrate navigation and a amazing length demonstrate. The demonstrate length is ideal for enjoying video clips on the bypass. The music sounds large by using the headphones, yet you may in straight forward terms use the headphones that come out of the container, no different headphones will in good shape. 8GB isn't in all probability that lots, yet once you dont want to apply quite some memory, 8GB would be okay. in case you want to get a extra low priced iPod bypass with the classic, yet i do propose the touch.

downloading songs from limewire are free but you have to take risks, you just need a good antivirus software when downloading from limewire....

you can put CDs on your ipod or if you have friends with ipods they can burn you cds for free. my friend has tons of songs and she burns me lots of cds so i dont have to buy like a million songs. but then your friend bought all that music and you didnt so its kinda not fair for them but lifes not always fair.
