Is it possible to change the rims on a 2004 hyundai tiburon from 17" to 15"?
Our 2004 Tiburon came with the fancy wheels with 17" rims... unfortunately, the tires are wearing down in less than a year. Is it possible to downsize the rims to 15" so we can get a more durable tire for it?

Yes, but the tires ran out because they are performance tires, not because of the size.
Just get All Season tires. They last much longer than performance tires.

what will happen is you will be lowering your Hyundai causing it to bottom out more sure you can do it but low is not what most people do.... . and you didnt say what type of tire you have now... but you do get what you pay for.... buy a name brand tire Goodyear Firestone Michelin you know that when buying a tire never get the cheapest one they offer ask for a mid range price tire you will have a better lasting tire if not go they the best.... a cheap tire is just that cheap... they dont last long is why they are cheap
