Why do all females like to wear shorts ? Why did my best friend put on short shorts too?

if you're shy about your legs, try wearing bermuda shorts, they cover more and they're light for summer.

short shorts are just comfortable and fun! i wear them all the time.

the key to shorts is finding they right ones. sounds to me like you and jen should go on a shopping trip, and try on some bermuda shorts since they cover your whole thigh, but leave from the knees down open.

try a pair on, you might just like them!

but don't do something that you don't feel comfortable in.

I dont like to wear short shorts. Its ok for teenagers but at my age...it looks trashy. There are other pants you can wear to feel cooler in summer, like capris or bermudas, and they dont have to be jeans, there are other thin cute fabrics. Wear what you feel comfy in. Go try some capris or bermudas, the plaid ones are really cute and you are not showing that much.

mabey you should try wearing shorts someplace where you are more comfortable, like with your friend jen in your room. then each day/week go a little further like out to the deck at jens house then to the beach. i'm sure it's not as bad as it seems...i wear shorts cause it is HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT where i live!!! mabey try bramuda shorts....

You make it sound like some weird short-wearing cult. you know there are places where people wear NO clothes... it gets hot. Shorts keep you cool. Most women like to show off their legs, and thats also a good way to do it.

In general , Shorts are not showing legs but prevention from hot climate in summer and feeling relaxing in summer.

Shorts are comfortable, and are what your /supposed/ to wear in the summer time.

I've known plenty of females who wouldn't be caught dead in shorts. It's a personal choice, and if you don't like shorts, then no one's forcing you to wear them. If you decide to wear them, however, please insure that you select shorts that are appropriate for your body type!

well, shorts don't have to be THAT short, unless you wear boxers as underwear.

i wear shorts, just because it's hot and i'd rather not wear things that stick to my legs cause of the humidity.

if you don't feel comfy with shorts, then, don't wear them. it's up to you. however, they shouldn't make you feel naked, because idk, they're just not something to freak out over.
