Did you ever set your hair on big empty frozen juice cans or iron it to make it straight?
That was before blow dryers, curling irons, and hot curlers.

LOL I remeber doing it with an iron when I was 13 and that was when hair straighteners first came out and they were so expensive. I still have my first one, its hopeless, it uses steam to make your hair straight!

I heard of girls doing that in the 1960's...I often tought how funny they must have looked...I guess it worked though! A hairdresser once set my hair on massive rollers and it came out straight but with beautiful fullness...so I recomend it.

Yesss I totally used a clothes iron!!! haha it absolutely WRECKED my hair and its taken at least 3 years to get it healthy again
