One of the primary forces behind the hit ABC show "Dancing with the Stars" will bring some of the sparkle of Hollywood to Livonia on Saturday.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a semifinalist on the show and one of those instrumental in the show's popularity, will visit Laurel Park Place from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 17, as part of an on-going community marketing effort to boost Livonia's image. The professional dancer will be there to teach a few lucky residents the kinds of moves seen on TV.
