MOVING! maine to florida.. friends.. cats..linese?

hello, im moving in 40 days :(

ive been so upset, i couldnt even go to school today... and because i was sick... so that didnt help.. but anyways what can i do in 40 days to make sure i have fun? what sould i do about saying bye to all my friends? another thing.. my cats.. my parents are unsure how to get 5 cats to florida, they will rent a van/SUV if needed but they cant afford to get a cage for each pet..... and lastly, my linsesnse.. my mom saidshe could send me back to maine for my drivers test and to say hi to friends quickly, but if i dont pass the first time then i will hjave to wait another y months because in florida u need your permit for 1 year, and need 50 hours of driving :O not just 35.. ahh im soo upset, and feeling weak cause ive been sick.. and ahh! i just dont know what to do.. i have only 2 more years of highschool, i wish i could stay at my friens house but my mom wont let me and my dad said that would be alright.. ahh! :( im so upset, somone.. please help me.

    im in the exact same situation my family is moving from maine to florida i july and they wont let m stay and finish my last two years of high school here and my uncle even said i could live with him..Ive been wicked upset about it too, but the most you can do is live everyday to the fullest :)

    wow. that's tough. before you leave, i would get a group of your friends together and just have a party type weekend. rent movies, order pizza, pop in some music, and have a blast. also, spend as much time with them as possible before you leave. invite them over to just hang out. i would also ask your parents if you could bring one friend down to help you move in. that's what my brother's friend did. that way it's more of a gradual change.

    also, it's nice to get them little "keepsake" boxes. that's what we bought for my brother's friend who moved to forida. even though we gave it to the person who was moving, they would be nice to get for your friends too.

    those would be really nice to get. you could put a picture in it too.

    since you will be living in florida now, i think you have to follow their permit/license rules. you have to check, but you might have to apply for a new permit and start over down there. they respect your maine license if you're there for vacation, but when you're there for good, you need a florida license.

    all in all, though, you're going to be fine when you move. it's a big deal, but i am sure you're going to make friends.

    you should have a huge going away party so that you can have that as an extra memory.also keep in touch through the computer phone and letter.good luck
