by admitting that i remember a time when jelly bracelets and big hair were "totally rad!"

And further more i was made to wear bellbottoms as a child?

Do you remember Captain Kangaroo and The Banana Splits?

How about The Magic Garden with Sherlock the Squirrell and the chuckle patch?

    Not only do I remember jelly bracelets...I also remember my hot pink jelly shoes! I was never made to wear bellbottom pants, but I remember the Captain, Electric Company, Romper Room and all those other creepy shows. lol

    I remember when our house first got cable and the first movie I saw was "The Elephant Man" and when Nickelodeon came out, it wasn't Nick Jr. It was "Pinwheel" and they had Hello Kitty on it.

    <singing> Pinwheel, pinwheel, turn it around. Look at my pinwheel and see what I've found. I remember that aside from Barbie, my favorite girl toys were "Glamour Gals" (Which were mini barbies basically) and "The Littles" which had small bodies with oversized heads and all of their furniture was diecast. We had Atari and Caleco <sp> and some of my friends still had roller skates with metal wheels.

    I'm not old though. I'm only 34. <g>

    Oh Papaw you're my age <G> Sky King, I had the biggest crush on him! Remember the Annie Oakley show and her kid brother Tag? How about Ding Dong School. Jelly shoes LOL I bought those as a present for my kid sister.

    I still have my first pair of hot platforms but with my bunions they just don't fit ....Blue Moon.....and the Beat goes on

    I remember the Banana Splits...My favorite program in T.V.

    I only wore bellbottoms pants while in the Navy but not as civilian...

    i had jelly bracelets up to the elbow on each arm

    one arm was black the other was all colorful

    i wasnt old enough to wear the big hair

    but i put it in pig tails like punky!

    yep....i was forced to wear bell bottoms too

    captain kangaroo was the shyt

    dont know the rest

    but what about garbage pail kids

    Yes, you would and I do, too...and Howdy Doody and Pinky Lee...and platform shoes and leisure suits, and when TV way only B/W on an almost round screen. I remember Mighty Mouse, Felix the Cat, Sky King, and the 1st Mouskateers, and Betty Boop,........and on..and on...and on! "sigh" those were the good old days!

    I had bell bottoms as a kid that my sister sewed led zeppelin and rolling stones patches on...Yes I was dressed like a hippy mom and sister thought it was sooo cute.

    I had 'huge mall hair' and remember the friendly giant and the electric company-lol

    Thanks, you just made me feel my AGE! UGH! I remember all of that...Bellbottomes were one of the worst clothing ideas along with shoulder pads...hated those fashions...
