Wow, dear, you're awful young...
But I'm sorry for your loss.
I would reccommend "Angel" by Sarah McLaughlin or "I Miss You" by Miley Cyrus.
Both are very sweet and fairly easy to sing.
Good luck honey. Hang in there.

Radios In Heaven by Plain White T's.
It's an awesome song. It may not be perfect for the scenario...But like I said, it's a really great song. Here's the lyrics:

I agree with the answer that said "angel" by sarah something. A girl who went to my school died in a car accident at 17 and they played that for a tribute video for her. Its a good song.

In My Life by The Beatles.
It has the word "Lovers" in it, but what you could do is replace "Lovers" to "People". But, other then that, It's really beautiful.

Try 'When you're Gone' by the Cranberries, :Never Tear Us Apart by INXS, or ENYA's 'Watermark'----the piano there will definitely remind you of somebody's missing presence.

How about "Slipped Away" by Avril Lavigne? She wrote that about her grandpa when he died. I think it would be appropriate in the situation.
