Is Herashio dead on CSI: Miami season final May 19, 2008?

I think that Horatio set it up with the help of Ryan and his ex. to make it look like he is dead. That way it will be easier to get Ron.

He is most certainly NOT dead. Without H, there is no show. I haven't heard anything about whether or not he's signed anything about the next season, but CSI: Miami doesn't happen without H, and CSI: Miami WILL happen. Who was it in the jail, ordering the murder? I think that was Ron, right? He definitely has motive. But Julia has realized that leaving the country is for her own good, and she wouldn't tell Ron. I'd bet Kyle, Julia, Wolfe, Horatio, and maybe Delko and Calleigh are trying to fake his death so he can go after Ron without being suspected. About 45 minutes into the episode, H told Ron he would be dead by Father's Day.

I was sad when Marisol died, (though happy that Ms. dela Garza is now on Law and Order, good career move.)

I think Horatio will pull through, since he's the star of the show. I can say i think it was the Save by the Bell Girl who did it. I haven't been following the show this season, what is up with Wolf, is he now a bad guy?

The problem is the end shot...it shows his eyeglasses with a big whole in them; ordinarily, this would indicate he was shot in the end, usually terminal. I think what next season will show was that the special bullet ricocheted out of his shoulder or something survivable, and one shell hit him between the sun glasses somehow.

If you go to cbs.com and look for CSI Miami you can watch clips about behind the scenes and they tell you what happened and Horatios charactor was saying that his death was staged to help get Ron!!!

When I re-watched the show....it looks like his sunglasses are laying right in the front of his face, and there's some kind of "reflection" on them.....but they don't look like they have such a shattered lens as it shows a few seconds later. PLUS---when they show the glasses later, they seem to be lying farther from his face.

There is no way he is dead because without him there is no show. It has already been given a new season at the upfronts last week.

yeah it could have been a set up between wolfe and Horatio's ex wife to get ron, that would have been good.... also b-4 he gets shot, he takes off his glasses and lowers them, so he didnt get shot on the eye threw the glasses...

I hope not cause he's the key of that show, but this was a shocking episode and the message that Riane got on his cell, what was that, did he joining the bad guys or what????
