How to keep yourself calm in adverse conditions and dont get provoked even if other person tries .?

In the offices and in the home we quarrel on the petty things and the damage we incur from the brawls is immense and sends bad message to the family or the people.

    There are definitely times when getting things off your chest is the way to go. However when things are seriously dangerous or important there is always my STAR rule.

    S - Stop [ calm yourself ]

    T - Think [ take a look before you leap]

    A - Act [only after calming yourself and thinking first ]

    R - stands for what you will become if you don't do the STA bit

    R= rat sh* t

    It has actually helped me to stay alive on a couple of occasions.

    People like to start fights its instinct or something some can be ignored and will leave it at that. Some need to be told off but getting punched hurts so make sure you know who you shoot your mouth off to. Do what you think is rite for the particular situation because its always something different. Sometimes bad messages need to be sent to solve the problem it just depends. Stick with your gut and do whats rite.

    the best way i find to stay calm is to watch other people lose it. somehow that just gets something stirring in my head, and i start to think "do i really want to be like that?"
